When we discovered that the ground was completely covered with litter?
1) After a Bazaar or Pasar Malam
- After a pasar malam ends, you’ll notice the streets covered in litter, with trash bins overflowing and piles of waste behind the stalls. Oil stains mark the ground, and the air still carries the smell of smoke from food vendors. It's a stark contrast to the lively market scene, revealing the aftermath of a bustling night.
2) After organized a big event such as New Year’s Eve celebration
- After the New Year’s Eve celebration, the Bukit Bintang area in Kuala Lumpur turned into a garbage- filled mess. Plastic bags, boxes, and water bottles were strewn everywhere. According to a post on Alam Flora’s Facebook page, their cleaning crew spent over 8 hours to clear up this mess. Surprisingly, on just that one night, they managed to collect 9,000 kilograms of trash.

Problem Statement
Insufficient Infrastructure in KL
1. Lack of Rubbish Bins
-People would simply litter around and causes KL to be unhygeine. Bins are lack on places such as bus stops, markets and parks.
2. Lack of Street Cleaning Services
-Limited Coverage : The cleaning services may not cover every part of the area in Kuala Lumpur.
- Outdated Cleaning Tools: Lead to inefficient cleaning and waste a lot of time.
- Inconsistent cleaning schedule : Affect the overall cleanliness of Kuala Lumpur.
